Warranty & Maintenance

All Churnet Valley items are handmade and come with a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty. Pressure-treated for durability, the timber has a lifespan of up to 20 years with minimal maintenance. Initially it may have a temporary green tint which will fade to a silvery grey over time. However, if you wish to change the colour straight away you can do so by using Protek Timber Eco Shield or paint/stain it after 3 months using a product compatible for use with pressure treated timber. As a natural material, the wood features knots and grain variations and seasonal moisture changes may cause cracks or splits, but these will not affect its durability or structure of the product.
