Handmade in the UK from sustainably sourced smooth planned and pressure treated Scandinavian redwood, this pergola is built with durability in mind with little to no maintenance required. Please note: For added stability and security, we recommend anchoring your pergola into the ground (fittings not supplied). There are two wooden 4" x 2" posts for each leg of the pergola.

Warranty & Maintenance

All Churnet Valley items are handmade and come with a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty. Pressure-treated for durability, the timber has a lifespan of up to 20 years with minimal maintenance. Initially, it may have a green tint, which will fade to a silvery grey over time. If you want to change the colour, you can stain it immediately with Protek Timber Eco Shield or paint/stain it after 3 months using a compatible product. As a natural material, the wood features knots and grain variations, and seasonal moisture changes may cause cracks or splits, but these will not affect its durability or strength.
