The Holkham 6 x 8 Greenhouse from Shire is a charming wooden greenhouse that is suitable for starting off seedlings or providing the perfect climate for growing tomatoes or tropical flowers. Manufactured from sustainably sourced dip treated timber built using joinery joints, complete with attractive roof cresting and finial and features low wooden panels adding traditional detailing. The windows and single door are glazed using toughened glass which is much more durable and less prone to breakage whilst allowing more light to transmit through compared to Perspex; creating ideal growing conditions. Two opening roof windows with Bayliss auto-vents are also provided, these help regulate the internal temperature and humidity by opening and closing a hinged vent automatically, through using energy from the warmth of the sun or the surrounding air inside the greenhouse while also providing ventilation. Made from FSC sustainably sourced timber which has been pre-treated with a water based preservative for protection during transit, making an ideal foundation for colouring to suit your personal taste. *In order to receive the full 10 year anti-rot guarantee, the timber must be treated with a high quality timber preservative prior to or shortly after construction in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

If you don't have the requisite DIY skills a home assembly service is available on this item. This service is conducted by the skilled Shire installation team at an agreed time which is convenient for you. Please note that this service is assembly only and does not include laying bases or disassembling existing buildings. Please ensure you have a suitable base in place before ordering this service. We recommend that the base onto which your building will stand should be at least 460mm (18") larger in each direction than the total footprint size of the building.

Larger items will be delivered on a non returnable pallet or via HGV. The item will be unloaded from either a flatbed vehicle or HGV using a hand pump truck which requires a flat, firm surface for unloading. In some cases, this may mean kerbside delivery only.
