The Large Rustic Cold Frame from Forest has two independently opening lids each with a large and small timber prop to enable you to vary the ventilation and temperature of the plants inside. The cold frame is manufactured from rough sawn pressure treated overlap cladding and safety acrylic glazing. Supplied with a manufacturers 15 years guarantee against rot. Home assembly required.

Warranty & Maintenance

This item is pressure treated with a 15 year manufacturers anti rot guarantee. The pressure treatment leaves the wood with a temporary green tint. If left to weather, the wood will fade to a silvery grey colour; however you can change the colour straight away by staining the wood using Protek Timber Eco Shield, or it can be painted after it has been allowed to weather for at least 3 months using a product compatible for use with pressure treated timber Please note natural splitting and cracking may occur but will not affect the longevity nor structure of the product.
