The Palram Skylight 4 x 6 Grey Shed is built using lightweight polycarbonate panels reinforced with aluminium frames and unlike wooden or metal sheds, they do not rust, rot, crack, warp or fade and therefore never need painting or staining making them very low maintenance. The lightweight polycarbonate walls are durable and virtually unbreakable as well as being resistant to frost and UV damage ensuring durability for many years to come.

Another unique feature of these sheds is the innovative roof panel material that allows natural light into the shed, whilst from the outside the roof is opaque, ensuring maximum privacy and preventing harmful UV rays from entering the shed and damaging/ fading the contents within. This method of illumination removes the need for windows, increasing privacy and security.

Installation

The shed should be installed on a solid, flat and level surface. This would ideally be a concrete, slabbed or tarmac base, but it can also be a pressure treated timber floor . This shed CANNOT be built on grass or gravel. Assembly will take 2 competent DIY adults approximately 2 to 3 hours.

Please refer to the shed footprint measurements when preparing a base for this shed. It is recommended that the base is 5cm larger than the shed footprint on each side for adequate space for anchoring down.
