The 8 x 12 Sun Hut from Shire is a stylish British-made potting shed, offering practical storage for tools and equipment while also including a workbench along one side for your gardening or workshop needs. Combining the benefits of both a shed and greenhouse, this attractive and versatile Sun Hut is designed for maximum light and is ideal for gardens where space may be limited for more than one garden building. This Sun Hut has eight large windows which are glazed using toughened glass, the top four of which open to allow for internal temperature adjustment and ventilation. The framed doors also come complete with a lockable pad bolt (padlock not included). This shed features a modular panel design, a degree of flexibility with the front panel allows the door to be positioned on the left or right of the front windows to best suit your layout requirements.

Home Assembly Service 

If you don't have the requisite DIY skills a home assembly service is available on this item. This service is conducted by the skilled Shire installation team at an agreed time which is convenient for you. Please note that this service is assembly only and does not include laying bases or disassembling existing buildings. Please ensure you have a suitable base in place before ordering this service. We recommend that the base onto which your building will stand should be at least 460mm (18") larger in each direction than the total footprint size of the building.

Shed Specification

The Sun Hut Sheds are manufactured using 12mm shiplap cladding, sturdy 34mm x 34mm frames, 12mm tongue and groove boards topped with mineral felt for the roof and a 12mm tongue and groove boarded floor. The eight windows are fitted with toughened clear glass and the 105cm x 163cm double doors come complete with a lockable pad bolt (padlock not included). FSC approved timber is used unless otherwise stated. All sheds are supplied with fixtures, fittings and instructions for home assembly.

Larger items will be delivered on a non returnable pallet or via HGV. The item will be unloaded from either a flatbed vehicle or HGV using a hand pump truck which requires a flat, firm surface for unloading. In some cases, this may mean kerbside delivery only. Please make us aware of any vehicle access restrictions such as height, width or weight limits as failed deliveries due to access issues may incur a failed delivery charge.
