The Xtend 4.0 Insulated Garden Building from Forest would make a great addition to any garden. Made from 97mm thick modular structural insulated panels (SIP) with 15mm tongue and groove outer cladding and pre-cut MDF primed interior cladding this building is designed to be cool in the summer and warm in the winter. With a roof and floor that are insulated with 122mm SIP roof panels and 108mm SIP floor panels with wrapped damp proof bearers this building is designed to be energy efficient. The building is also supplied with double glazing though out, it has a single door with two fixed side panels to the front and one panel with 1/4 opening window on the right hand side wall, both the door and window are supplied with key locks for security. This building is designed to be low maintenance as the roof is made from a EPDM rubber membrane which will not crack, split or rot, this material is supplied with a 50 year guarantee and in one piece for easy installation. The rest of the item is supplied with 15 year manufacturer's structural guarantee.

Manufactured in the UK from Kiln dried timber. The building is supplied as a self assembly kit, with instructions and fittings and with the ready made SIP panels and pre-cut cladding it offers a simple and straight forward installation process. Treatment and Maintenance

Forest Xtend buildings should be treated immediately following assembly with a high quality preservative and at least once a year after. All treatments must be suitable for kiln dried timber, the recommended treatments from Forest are Sikkens Cetol HLS Plus • Restol Wood Oil • Timmersol ETS Double Protectant • Osmo Country Colour • Osmo Natural Oil Woodstain. For the internal walls and roof these are pre-primed ready for you to apply a colour of your choice, standard emulsion paint is suitable for this. The internal floor is also supplied bare ready for you to lay carpet or laminate as required.

This item is supplied flat packed ready for DIY home installation however, if you would prefer a professional installation this service can be provided by the skilled Forest installation team at an agreed time which is convenient for you. Please note that this service is assembly only and does not include laying bases or disassembling existing buildings. Please ensure you have a suitable solid, level base in place before ordering this service.
