The Drainpipe Filling Device from Garantia is suitable for round drainpipes with a diameter of 70mm, 80mm or 100mm for collection of rainwater for garden irrigation. This device features a built in filter which helps to remove leaves or larger dirt and debris from the harvested rainwater before it flows into your chosen Garantia water butt or tank (sold separately). To fit this device a section of your drainpipe is required to be cut and removed, in some cases the drainpipe may be required to be removed from the wall for fitting. An additional feature is the automatic overflow stop function which prevents water butts from overflowing and with the Summer and Winter function, simply turn to Winter in the colder months to stop water entering your water butt, helping to prevent it from cracking . Care Instructions
During the Winter months the diverter should be turned to 'Winter Function' to prevent water entering water butt/tank - this is to reduce the chance of freezing and cracking. Filter should be removed and cleaned as required.
