The Timber Lawn Edging from Greena offers a great alternative to the more traditional log edging and is a quick and easy solution for creating edgings on borders, pathways and lawns or for partitioning or marking boundaries. Manufactured in the UK from 1.6cm thick planed, sustainably sourced Scandinavian timber, and pressure treated to prevent rot, giving a life expectancy of 15 years or more. Each length is supplied with two 30cm high posts. Available in 3 different lengths and pack sizes.

Caring for your item

The pressure treatment will leave the item with a pale green finish that allows the natural beauty of the wood to show through and over time if left this will weather to an attractive silver/grey finish. This is perfectly natural and does not affect the structure of the product. Alternatively the pressure treated finish creates a good foundation for colouring to suit your personal taste. If you do decide to paint or stain this item it is advisable to allow the wood to weather for 2-3 months to avoid trapping any residual chemicals from the pressure treated process. Any paint or stain you use must then be suitable for pressure treated timber. Please note natural splitting and cracking may occur but will not affect the longevity nor structure of the product. Being a natural product this item is susceptible to shrinkage/swelling, all sizes are therefore approximate.
