The Hexagonal Planter from Shire is a stylish and practical planter that can brighten up any outdoor space when filled with a floral display, whether that be a patio, decking area, or even to create a focal point in your garden. Fill each segment with similar plants to form a larger array, or even place separate flowers in each segment for a wider variety of welcoming colour. Manufactured from pressure treated softwood with 16mm x 80mm Chamfered edged boards, this planter is long lasting and maintenance free. Supplied unpainted and in two different sizes (four segments or six segments) with a 10 year manufacturer's anti-rot guarantee. The four-segment option provides a total volume of 148L, with each segment being 37L, while the six-segment option provides a total volume of 140L, with each segment being 23L.

Deeper raised beds are a wonderful idea for people with limited mobility as they are easier to tend than a ground level border. Suitable for growing vegetables, strawberries, tomatoes, plants or flowers. Care & Maintenance Advice

This item is pressure treated which leaves the wood with a temporary green tint. If left to weather, the wood will fade to a silvery grey colour; however you can change the colour straight away by staining the wood using Protek Timber Eco Shield, or it can be painted after it has been allowed to weather for at least 3 months using a product compatible for use with pressure treated timber Please note natural splitting and cracking may occur but will not affect the longevity nor structure of the product.
